What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Having Sex?

My period was normal for the first 3 days then it stopped. It started back up again light when i thoight it stoped today (4thday) it started again! heavy! after me and my boyfriend had sex. We use non hormonal contraceptive gel and later I peed, little red specs came out. am I pregnant or should I see a doctor?
