What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Intercourse?

Yesterday I had sex with my bf everything was fine, this morning I had blood in my discharge and it has lessen throughout the day at first i through i through he may have hit my cervix because that is what my doctor said was the cause the last time this happened which was about a year ago but i was a little more blood then before so im a little worried
