What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Masturbation?

Hi.. I'm 16 and havnt started my period.. I was fingering myself earlier today.. I don't have long nails and they rant sharp. I was being kind of rough, but nothing to harsh. I'm not sure if I have torn my hymen and I'm not to worried, but I went to the bathroom and after I wiped I noticed blood on the toilet paper. I was a little surprised so I got more toilet paper and wiped again.. A few times (different toilet paper pieces of course) and there was still blood. I'm not having any cramps or stomach issues. Could I have started my period? Or cut myself. Btw, I am a virgin.
