What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Taking I Pill?

Hi i took ipill twice in one cycle..one last to last week and the other one last week since then i have been having vaginal bleeding...please let me know if its normal or should i consult a doctor..also should i stop having sex till the bleeding stops?
