What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Taking Depo Injection?

Hi, I have been on the pill for about a year now but before that I was on the depo injection for two years. I've been ontop with my pill but two days ago started with what looks like a period, is this my depo wearing off? Am I at risk at getting pregnant and do I need to wait till my period stops before I take cerazette again?
