What Causes Vaginal Bleeding During Pregnancy?

This question is for my sister, She had bleeding after 10days of intercourse. The home pregnancy test was negative but I read that if you get bleeding within 10days ,it is usually implantation bleeding.her periods were nowhere near the date when She bled.the intercourse was within one week of her previous periods end. Need help to know if She is pregnant or not?
