What Causes Vaginal Bleeding Post Intercourse?

I was given medicine to treat bv for a week. I just finished the meds two days ago. The lady said to not have sex for a week after i finish my meds to make sure everything was gone. My partner and I were both anxious so we had sex this morning. Once we finished, I noticed I had bled all over my bed from my vagina. And I am still lightly bleeding. What should I do? I remember last time I had bv, I bled a little after sex. Not sure if this is the same or not. I need help.
