What Causes Vaginal Bleeding Post Intercourse?

i've had irregular period for about a year now, every since i switch from the shot back to the pill. the problem is i can not bleed all day but once me and my fiance have intercourse i have a bloody ejaculation after sex. i know this isn't normal what caould it be?
