I had a medical termination on the 5th of February 2015, I bled for about 3 weeks. I was experiencing some pain, back & fourth from & and e pregnancy test was negative, they carried out some tests and said I didn t have an infection but they prescribed me antibiotics just in case, they didn t really work so after about a week I decided to visit my gp & she also provided me with some antibiotics , I still felt the same, I went back to her after a week, and she then decided to refer me to get a scan done, I did not want to wait, so I returned back to a & e and finally a gyno decided to come down & see me , she took a swab, examined & said everything appears normal, she then said to put myself @ rest, I can go to the early pregnancy unit the next day for a scan, I was so relieved, so I went to the early pregnancy unit who luckily provided me with an internal scan. I received this internal scan on the 6th of March. There diagnosis was no retained products of contraception post intervention. The endometrium appears thick but there was no evidence of retained products on today s scan. This is reassuring and no further follow up has been arranged. However if Jane experiences any irregular bleeding she should return to the clinic for a scan . Recently, I have been experiencing some discharge, and like very light brownish spotting & minor cramping similar to period pains. Could this mean my period should be coming soon, or do you think I should go back to the early pregnancy unit ? I wish there was a way I could send you a picture of what time talking about, I m visually impaired so quite difficult for me identify attention to detail stuff expecially colors , forever running back & fourth to my mum, it was her who told me the color, & thinks it s normal, but she isn t a doctor If you could please get back to me I would be most greatful .
