What Causes Vaginal Discharge?

Hi,
I have had vaginal discharge on and off for about 6 months
i consulted a dr who prescriped nystatine pills which insered with little releive. lately i have had persistent headaches which dont really respond to pain killers like ibuprofen. today i had chills. what is wrong with me, pls advice me
