What Causes Vaginal Dryness?

Im on ortho tricyclen lo birth control, and about a couple weeks ago i started my period early during the 3rd week ( beginning of dark blue cycle)
I didnt know what to do during the placebo week cause I figured i was already on my period so I started a new pack skipping the placebo week altogether. Its my third day now on the new pack and im still slightly bleeding... is this normal? was i wrong for starting a new pack? and will i get my period during the placebo week of this new pack?? Please help, its scaring me....

Also, ive been experiencing a little vaginal dryness.. is that because i am spotting or is it because I started the new pack of pills?? Should I be concerned or will it go back to normal??

Also, if starting the new pack is causing my symptoms, should I discontinue use of this new pack and start again next month or something?? Will i even get a period?
