What Causes Vaginal Itchiness With Swollen Vaginal Lip?

I woke up with a little bit of itchiness on my vagina. After itching it, I got in the shower. When I got in the shower and started washing myself I noticed that the right lip was substanitally swollen. It feels like there is a cut or something below it because it burned a little when I peed and there was a little blood. What could cause this and will the swelling go down?
