What Causes Vaginal Itching And Burning While Urinating?

this has started happening only recently, a week or so. the only time my vaginal area itches or burns is when i pee, only the part of my body the urine actually comes out of, not where i have sexual intercourse. today i saw light pink on the toilet paper from blood i'm guessing and now when i pee my lower stomach hurts really bad like i'm having period cramps. i have been discharging white gooey substances also. all the signs suggest a yeast infection, but what is it and what do i do?
