What Causes Vaginal Itching?

Hi OK so I have this itch in my vagina and it s been happening since yesterday when I got home from school I showered and it went away again and came back when i got home I ve been looking on the internet and I have no other symptoms but itching and I want to know what s going on i read that I can put vapor rub and I have and so far the itch has gone away but I don t know what s going on can someone please help me?
