What Causes Vaginal Pain And Low Grade Fever?

My wife for the last few days has a low grade fever that comes and goes. Her body aches, today the same level as her belly button but on the left side and her back aches. Headaches come and go. She is always very healthy and never sick. I thought it was the flu at first but no runny nose, no coughing, her stool is fine. She says her cagina hurts this morning where she wipes on the upper part....?
