What Causes Vibrating Or Pulsating Feeling In The Chest?

I am a 62 year old male. I have a vibrating or pulsating feeling in the area of my left femoral artery. In the past I have had this feeling randomly. It felt like a cell phone vibrating in my pocket. Today it has increased in intensity and I feel it much of the time. It seems like I am feeling the blood pump through the vein. Is this something I need t worry about?
