What Causes Violent Behavior In Child?

Why is my 8 year old step daughter showing violent behavior. She has cut her younger sister with a razor blade and stabbed het older brother with a pencil. And twisted my sons arm behind his back and said she would break it. S he tortured cats and dogs. I don t understand what s going on with her.
