What Causes Viral Fever Along With Mucus In Stools?

My wife had viral fever, on tab. paracetamol for 3 days. Since she has unproductive cough on and off with shortness of breath, she was put on tab. Augmentin 625 bid for 5 days along with Nutrolin-B plus. Now she passes little stools with mucus. She takes tender coconut water while she is thirsty. What else may be done. Altogether today is the 8th day of illness.
