What Causes Visual Distortion In Lateral Aspect Of Right Eye?

I am currently experiencing a visual distortion of the lateral aspect of my right eye. My vision at the lateral/peripheral aspect of my right eye is blurry/wavy. My left eye is unaffected. I have no headache. No other apparent symptoms. My blood pressure is regularly within normal limits.
