What Causes Vomiting Along With Minor Cold Symptoms?

i took dayquil for a minor cold then 6 hrs later i drank a beer and a shot which i probably should not have done. That night i started vomiting and couldn't hold down liquids. i am back to minor cold right now with no nuasua symptoms. should i be worried? or just forget about it?
