What Causes Vomiting, Fever And Cough On Child?

Hi, my son 3.5 yrs old having more cough for the past 3 days, with voimitting and mild fever, we giving him rhinathiol syrup for cough & fever medicine, as doctor prescribed, but no any improvement for cough. can u suggest other syrup for my son. thank you
