What Causes Vomiting In A Child On Having Junk Food?

Could donuts cause food poisoning in an 8 year old? Hes been vomiting for the past 5 hours on and off atleast 8 times already ... maybe a virus just now showing??? Theres been a stomach bug going around school but, it didnt start until after he ate a package of mini donuts.
