What Causes Vomiting Only At Night?

My two year old son has been throwing up only at night. He did last night and the night before. Before this, he did it exactly a month ago and it lasted a week. He doesn t act sick before or after. It is usually dark with some food in it. Why is he doing this? His diet has had no changes. Nothing in his life has changed.
