What Causes Vomiting Post Placement For Oesophageal Stent?

Dear Respected Doctor Edison, This is to get an expert opinion for a grand mother who is 93 yrs. She was diagnosed with Ca oesophagus and an oesophageal stent was placed.Currently she is vomiting and unable to eat or drink any food?Is there any palliative measures including radiotherapy or a PEG tube suitable for her?Currently she is managed with IV fluid and anti emetics.
