What Causes Wart In Between Genital Area And Thigh?

Hello I have wart in between my genital and thigh and a doctor recommend that I use podowart and I should apply it day and night which I did for 4 day consecutively . But unfortunately, this has left me with broken skin and has also affected my genital as well. Please help on what to do to stop the effect on my genital and skin.
