What Causes Wavy Lines On The Side Of Right Eye?

I m trying to read, but the right edge of my right eye is blocking a few letters, I can see wavy lines on the right edge of my eye that is blocking those letters. I had this same thing about a month ago, but it went away after about an hour and I didn t have or get any other symptoms.
