What Causes Weird Dark Tanned Skin On Lower Chest?

Okay so on my lower chest/top part of my abdomin I have weird darker tanned skin. I've had it for a year is it just from my bra wire? I used to have a bigger stomach from being overweight so is that a factor as to why it's there? and if there anyway I can get rid of it?
