What Causes Weird Sensations In Head While Sniffing Mucus?

So everytime I sniffle or suck mucus up my nose, it feels like someone is pushing on the left side of my head in the inside. Its a weird pain. It does NOT feel like a headache. Sometimes it lasts for a few seconds. Could this be something serious or what is it?
