What Causes Weird Vibrations In Lower Abdominal Area?

I have been having these vibrating sensations (like a light cell phone ringing) in my lower abdomen area. I don t have any major issues at all in that area. It seems to be above my genitals but below my belly button. I know this sounds weird but it is a real feeling and happens only sporadically every few days and then goes away for awhile. I don t have any major indications of abdominal concerns or problems. Any ideas? I know it s not gas.
