What Causes Welts On Inner Thighs?

I seem to have welts on my inner thighs for the last three months, they don t heal..have tried various creams etc..History..never had this issue before, not sexually active for at least a few years..I am 52 years old..maybe stress? been laid off , hired to be laid off again. I know that I needed to take B12 from my last blood report 2 years ago!
