What Causes Wheezing Despite Undergoing Surgery For Sinus And Acid Reflux?

I have had wheezing for almost 1 yr & half, started with being expised to dry wall dust while building a new house.. Have had numerous visits with doctors have recently had sinus surgery & surgery for acid reflux because I was aspirating. I still continue to wheeze & the only thing that responds is steroids. Could this be chronic bronchitis? The pulminologist I have went to have yet to do a bronchoscopy. Do you have any answers...
