What Causes White, Chunky Discharge During Intercourse?

Hi there, im 23years old, i have a child of 4 years old, when i have intercaurce, i have chuncky white discharge that burns my husband, im not sure what causes this, but would like to know who to stop this? could this maybe be that my hormone are not balanced?
