What Causes White Color Scab Near The Vaginal Region?

Hi, i noticed a white-ish area near my vaginal opening or cervical opening or whatever. I'm not sure what it is. A while back, during intercourse, i got a tear there. i'm thinking it may be a scab but i'm not sure. It's rougher than the rest of the skin and seems a tad bit dryer than the rest of the skin also. It doesn't itch or burn or hurt an anyway. I just want to know what it is and why it is there.
