What Causes White Flashing And Rolling Lights In Vision?

I just experienced white flashing and rolling lights in my left peripheral vision and could not focus. It lasted about 7-8 minutes followed by a dull pain in right top of head. Also after I felt like a weight less weight was under my left eye. What could this be?
