What Causes White Head Bump With Red Ring Around It On Leg?

I woke up 2 days ago with a white head bump on my leg so u popped it cause I thought that it was like an infected hair. And then rubbed alcohol on it. Since then it has turned into a pus color center and there is a red ring around it. I ve kept rubbing alcohol on it and a bandaid with neosporn on it. But it has not gone down any and it only hurts when I try to pop it. What could this be.
