What Causes White Lumps In Throat?

Hi there, I have had a sore throat for approximately 5 days now. Yesterday I looked into my throat using a mirror, and I noticed large white lumps that look like blisters filled with pus. I also feel week and tired. The throat ONLY hurts when I swallow. I had my tonsils taken out when I was three years old (I am now 26). Almost 2 months ago, I had surgery on my lower jaw to increase it's size by 8mm. Any ideas what this could be?
