What Causes White Smelly Discharge?

Hi, I have this white/clear stretchy discharge with a slight odor, but i've had this for ages and never thought anything of it. It's when the discharge seems to dry, it's the foulest, most horrible odor ever! What is this, and is there anything i can buy from a chemist?
