What Causes White Spot On The Vaginal Lip?

I have a gyn question. I just noticed a small white "spot" on the lip of my vagina. I have not had any itching, soreness or redness. It is not raised either. I have not been sexually active as of late, but I am involved in a monogomous relationship. Is the "spot" something to be concerned over?
