What Causes White Vaginal Discharge After Taking Nordette?

I had unprotected sex last Jan 8, 2014 and took nordette 12 hours after the deed and another 4 pills after 12 hours as instructed. I had a white vaginal discharge after taking the first dose. Is this normal? It's been 12 days (Jan 21, 2015) since last dose of pill. I felt the normal like nausea, breast tenderness,mood swings. Btw, I have amenorrhea as my period is very irregular although my last period was last month. How do i know if the pill worked? And when should i take pt to check.
