What Causes White Vaginal Discharge?

I am 20 year old female i am suffering from white vaginal discharge. it starts from 5 days after my periods and continues for 2 weaks and sometimes its itchy too. It becomes so wet tat i need to change 3 panties a day. Plz tell me why this happens and the solution to this problem plz. Thankyou.
