What Causes Whitish Grey Patch Rash On Face?

About 3 months ago on the apple of my cheek I had a groupin of small hard bumps in a semi circle the size of a tooney $. Each bump I thought was a hard pimple. I tried to wash and exfoliate. Which opened the sores. The surfaced healed, but under surface you can still see where each sore is and also a webbing of tiny spider veins intertwines the spots. People are noticing that side of my face is swollen. The dentist checked for abscessed teeth- all are fine. Went to doctor who gave me steroid nasal spray for sinus infection. I have not ever had sinus infection before. No cold or flu for at least 3 yrs. No headaches or pressure, no pain whatsoever . Recently after a shower I ve noticed a whiteish-grey patch size of a dime where rash is, when rest of face is pink from shower. What is goin on
