What Causes Whitish Yellow Scaling At Mons Pubis And Labia Majora?

Hi Dr s! I have some whitish/yellow-like scalings (no Papules, no pus) at Mons pubis and at Labia Majora that refuses to go away. It s itching from times to times and Labia Majora has become very swollen, more loose let s say and has a pinkish color. I ve had this problem for about a year now. I saw a Dermatologist who told me that it s Psoriasis and gave me some topical Corticosteriods to treat it. It didn t help, I m sure it s not Psoriasis since it s a hereditary skin disease and no one in my family has it. I tried to diagnose myself (without any luck) since I m studying medicine, Psoriasis was my first guess too but it just can t be psoriasis. What is it that I might possibly have?
