What Causes Xiphoid Process To Lean Left?

Hi!! Is it normal for the xiphoid process to lean sharply to the left instead of straight down? I am feeling what I believe is my xiphoid process but it is definitely not in the center at the bottom of my sternum, but distinctly to the right. Any information would be helpful :-) thank you so much!
