What Causes Yellow Discharge Through The Anus?

Hello I just went to the bathroom to pee and when I wiped there was a bright yellow, egg yoke colored, discharge similar to the color of bile. I wiped a second time and I cannot seem to find whether its from the anus or vagina, but I suspect from the anus. I had diarrhea twice today and have been having chronic diarrhea since before I had my gallbladder removed last fall. What could this be?
