What Causes Yellow Discharge With Slight Odor?

I have the implant, and I've always had on and off yellow/white discharge which has a slight odour. I went to my doctors and she prescribed me some anti biotics. The discharge is sstill ocuring and is really effecting my sex life. Could this be the implant. If so are the only options to get implant out or is there anything I can do just to prevent it?
