What Causes Yellow Scaling Appear On Nipples?

for the past few months I've had yellow scaling appear on my nipples I've been looking online quite a bit as it hasn't gone away and I think it may be nevoid hyperkeratosis. what would you say would be symptoms of this to see if it resembles what I have?
