What Causes Yellow Vaginal Discharge After Sex?

My wife noticed a non-odorous yellow flow from her vagina about ten days ago. We went to Dr and the Dr thought it was trichamonas. Neither of us have been unfaithful. That leaves only one possibility if its trichamonas. The day before we had sex we were at a public pool. She did not go in the water. I did. However; when leaving I did not shower until we got home. The next day we had sex for the first time in several months. The following day she noticed the discharge.



We went to Dr two days after she first noticed the discharge. They took a sample for the lab. We’ve not heard anything from Dr.



Yesterday the flow ceased after eight days.



Is there anything else this could be?
