What Causes Yellowish Spots On The Skin?

Hi, I have noticed yellowish/oranges spots on my skin for over a year now and are starting to get itchy and scaly. I will say I m over weight and noticed they started on my sides where I have a skin roll ... They appeared in between the roll, and I thought it was a heat rash... They have only increased.
