What Causes Yellowish Vaginal Discharge Post Depo Shot?

I have recently changed from the combinded pill to the depo injection; I was informed that the depo may change my periods or that I may not have any. I have not had my period this month, and now i m experiencing a yellow-ish snot like vaginal discharge. I m worried that this may be a sign of pregnancy..?
