What Causes Yellowish Vaginal Discharge With Odor?

Hello, iv been having more discharge then usual, yellowish and runny, it did have a little odour to it so i went out and bought canesten vaginal tablets, i have used the first 2 dose's and after everyone iv been getting white thick chalky discharge, what do you think its from? I think its the tablets?
